Competence Center request form
Use this form to request consultation, methodological guidance or practical support from the Competence Center for Research Data Management of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
The information provided in the form helps the Center understand the request, select the appropriate service and route it to the responsible specialist.

Submit a request
The online form is the recommended submission method. A downloadable version may be used when a request must be prepared or approved internally before submission.

Data Management Plans, resource descriptions, catalogue readiness and preparation for EOSC-compatible environments.

What information does the form collect?
Provide enough context for the Center to assess and route the request. Required fields constitute the minimum information needed to begin processing.

Minimum information for routing
At minimum, provide your name, institution, email address, request category, a short request title and a clear description of the support needed.
Requests that do not contain enough information may require an additional clarification step before they can be assigned to a specialist.
How to submit a useful request

What happens after submission?
Each request is reviewed before it is assigned or redirected.
Registration
The request is recorded with the contact details and submitted materials.
Initial review
The Center checks the request category, scope and completeness.
Routing
The request is assigned to the relevant specialist, service or consultation format.
Response
The requester receives guidance, clarification questions or information about the next steps.

Important notes
- Describe one principal task or issue per request whenever possible.
- Do not submit passwords, API keys, authentication credentials or other security-sensitive information.
- Do not upload personal, confidential, restricted or unpublished research data unless this has been agreed with the Center in advance.
- For an initial assessment, provide sample files or structural descriptions instead of complete large datasets.
- Clearly identify any publication, project or reporting deadline, but do not classify every request as urgent.
- Ensure that you have permission to share any attached files with the Center.
- The Center may request clarification or additional information before substantive work begins.
- Submission of a request does not automatically guarantee completion of all requested work or repository publication.
Use of submitted information
Contact and request information is used to register, assess, route and respond to the submitted request. It may be shared with the specialists or service operators involved in processing the request.
Do not include personal data or confidential research information that is not necessary for providing the requested support.
