Monitoring and reports
Activity monitoring, service indicators, quality review and annual reporting of the NASU FAIR Data Competence Center.
The Centre records its principal services and activities in order to evaluate user needs, improve support processes and report on the results of its work.
Monitoring combines quantitative indicators with user feedback, information about recurring problems and an assessment of the quality and relevance of the Centre’s resources.

Quality monitoring
Internal review
Methodological and learning materials are reviewed before or after publication as appropriate.
Content updates
Templates and guidance are revised when standards, services or user requirements change.
User feedback
Feedback is collected to identify usability problems and unmet support needs.
International practice
Materials are reviewed against relevant FAIR, RDM and open-science practices.
Reporting cycle
1. Record activities
Requests, consultations, training events and prepared resources are recorded throughout the year.
2. Review the data
Records are checked, grouped and analysed to identify results and recurring needs.
3. Prepare the report
The Head of the Centre organises preparation of the annual activity report.
4. Publish approved information
Information approved for public release is published on the Centre’s website.
Responsible reporting
Public reports should present aggregated activity information wherever individual-level information is not required.
Personal data, confidential research information and restricted materials must not be disclosed through public reporting.
Information about unpublished datasets or institutional requests should be included only where the relevant permissions and legal conditions allow publication.
Quantitative indicators should be accompanied by sufficient context to prevent misleading comparisons between reporting periods.
